Obituary of E. Virginia Smith Policastro

E. Virginia Smith Policastro, 87, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Sunday, June 17, 2012. Born in Hillside, to the late John and Ethel Smith, she lived most of her life in Woodbridge and Avenel, residing in Point Pleasant since 2008. Mrs. Policastro had worked as a clerk for the American Red Cross in Edison. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Peter and by her daughter Diane Jannerone. Surviving are her sister, Danetta Juarez of Avenel, and several nieces, nephews, and other family members. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 20 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 21, a graveside service, followed by interment, will be take place at Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.
