Obituary of Mary Jean Tonkovich

Mary Jean Barrett Tonkovich, 54, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Friday, July 20, 2012 at her home. Born in Newark, to the late James and Marilyn Barrett, she was a life-long Point Pleasant area resident and communicant of the Church of Saint Martha, Point Pleasant. Surviving are her beloved husband, Donald; one son, James Tonkovich and his wife Jamie of Brick; two daughters, Michelle Gilbert and her husband Andrew of Point Pleasant and Amy Tonkovich and Anthony Simerale of Myrtle Beach, SC; one brother, James Barrett of Richmond, VA; one sister, Joann Norcross of Barnegat; and three grandchildren, Ashley, Aubrey, and Donald. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m., Tuesday, July 24, at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 25, a Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Saint Martha Church, Point Pleasant. Cremation will held privately.
