To the East Family,
Please accept our deepest love & sympathy as you tread this sorrowful path. Our prayers are with all of you. Laney was the sweatest boy and was always welcomed in our hone. He made us laugh, especially when he joked with Al, asking him to pour a beer for him too! Laney will have a very special place in our hearts, forever! We hope all of you find some comfort in knowing how many lives Laney touched and how he enriched them, in the short time he walked this earth. RIP precious boy, you will be dearly missed! Love, Al & Anna D’Antonio

You’re family is in my prayers. My son knew Lane and has nothing but good things to say about him. I’m heartbroken for your family. I’m sure he’s resting with his mother.

I didn’t know your son, although my son did briefly, and i’m touched by the stories of his spirit. I can’t imagine what it is like to lose a life at such a young age (my son is 14). I will be thinking of your family and sending you love and prayers. Your Ramtown community wants to help. Please reach out to the schools/FB groups if you need anything.❤️

I Thessalonians 4:13-14 "But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep."

I will miss the talks I had with my little buddy. His fish stories, the stories about riding in the woods..We discussed that too.The happiness when he showed me his new fishing reel still in the box. Always coming over asking if I had any chores I needed done because he needed money for fishing, or a bike..I wanted to happily give it to him but he said he was taught a good days work is how you get your money. He touched my heart as only Lane could do. I loved him as if he were my own son. Many hearts have been broken but Lanes light will continue forever in our town. He is one in a billion. Shine on Lane, shine on...<3 Until we meet again. I love you Lane....
My deepest sympathies to the entire family. I love you all very much.

The 5 or so years our family had with Lane as Emily's best bud are years we'll never forget. He became instant family and then we were blessed to get to know most of you. And then we learned how small a world it was - my husband knew your mother and her family through school and my in-law's friendship with your maternal grandparents. So in a sense the friendship was meant to be. There was so much that Lane taught us and though we weren't familiar with the severity of his health issues we knew they were there but he never let them stop him. He always had a smile on his face and wanted to enjoy life. We truly thank the Lord for his life, for being an angel here on earth for the time you and everyone he encountered had him. He was a brave and beautiful boy. Emily is heartbroken over losing her buddy but knows he will always be in her heart. We love you guys, we mourn with you and we also celebrate what Lane brought to everyone - the lesson that adversity should never stop you from living life and loving everyone no matter what. Rest easy, kiddo. And we're here for you all always. Allan, Annmarie and Emily Scottson

My heart is hurting so much for the family, and I pray that you all stay strong and lean on each other. God put Lane on this Earth for a reason, I believe that one reason was to teach us all, how to smile, thru our worse moments. I never had the pleasure to meet Lane, but I know he was loved by so Many. I have watched him grow up thru the pictures on the internet, and thru you all talking about him. I think Lane will leave an impression on a lot of children and Adults. I know for sure he has taught me so much and I will never forget him. Hang on to his memories, and know he is watching you all. He fought hard to the end, and now he is able to rest with no pain, and I am sure he was greeted by his MOM. Please know that my heart and tears are with you all, and that if you need anything please ask away.
