Obituary of Robert W. Walker
Robert W. Walker, 96, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Wednesday, January 9, 2019.
Born in Newark to the late Ralph and Ruth Walker, he lived in Brick and in Point Pleasant for the past thirty years.
Mr. Walker was retired from the State of New Jersey, DOT/Highway Department and was a World War II, United States Army veteran.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of seventy-three years, Hope Clayton Walker.
Surviving are his son, Robert W. Walker, Jr. and wife, Diane of Melfa, VA; and daughter, Shirley Anderson and husband, Robert of Lakewood. Also surviving are his sister, Doris; seven grandchildren, Joann, Robert, Wendy, Deanna, Robert, Cheryl, and Denise; sixteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10-10:30 a.m., Monday, January 14 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, where at 10:30 a.m., a service will be held. Interment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
