In Honor of Paul Zaitchick (Zann) May he Rest In Peace!
DEAR Family & Friends of Paul, I want to offer you my Sincere Condolences!!!! I was deeply shocked to hear of his passing!!! I didn't even know he was ill. My last Email from him was in late July and he didn't tell me of his illness.
I worked with Paul for 5 years, during the Tax Season and learned much. I met some of you then. He always called me Raff. Ever since I left the States, in 1985, Paul and I stayed in touch, via Email.
Have Courage and know that eventually ALL our Loved Ones will be reunited with us in Peace and Love.
I've written a short poem about him.
Paul Zann Quite a Man
So strong in many ways
We shall remember him
All the rest of our days
Raff

Our deepest condolences to Linda, Jill, and Grant. Paul was a larger than life friend for over 50 years. His wit and laughter always took center stage at our many dinners and events. He was the absolute best at handling the tax problems of thousands of clients, many of whom became lifelong friends. Paul made visiting Federal Tax a social event, no matter how difficult the business situation was. To play golf with him was akin to a comedy roast of your golf skills. Rest in Peace Paul. I was having holiday dinner last night with my family I started to think about my grandparents who lived in Brooklyn. My grandmother was a terrific baker and used to send me cookies during my freshman year at the University of Toledo. It was 1960 and I walked into my dorm and Paul was sitting there eating grandma’s cookies:) I have not thought about that incident in 60 years and today I saw Paul’s obituary.
Please accept my condolences,
Mark Friedman
