Obituary of Mary Malone Mirabelli

Mary Malone Mirabelli, 85, of Brick, peacefully passed away at her home on the morning of Tuesday, September 21, 2021.

Born in 1935 to Thomas and Nora Malone, Mary was raised in Elizabeth with her siblings, Thomas, Michael, and the late, Noreen.  Mary graduated from Benedictine Academy in 1953.

A young Mary married and soon became devoted to raising her three beloved children.  Mary had many skills, but was known especially for her great talent as a seamstress with a keen eye for interior design.  She dazzled her family with beautifully made clothes and an expertly curated home.  She was a fabulous cook who created exceptional homemade meals and enjoyed hosting parties to the delight of her extended family.

In the next chapter of her life, Mary became a successful real estate agent for ten years in the Wall area.  She would eventually retire from real estate and marry a second time, living first in Sea Girt and then Westfield.  In 1999, Mary moved to Brick and made her final home at Cedar Village.

Mary had a full, happy, and interesting life.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, beloved sister, aunt, and friend.  A truly selfless caregiver, she asked little for herself, but was always generous with what she could do and provide for others.

Mary leaves behind, to cherish her memory, her loving children, Gail, John, and Michael; their spouses; five grandsons; three great-grandchildren; two brothers; and many nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 2 – 4 p.m., Friday, October 1 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 3 p.m., a prayer service will be held.
