Obituary of Daniel Streaser

 

Daniel Streaser, 96, of Point Pleasant Beach, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021.

 

Born in New York City to the late William and Thelma Streaser, he has lived in Point Pleasant Beach for the past thirty-five years.

 

Dan retried as a supervisor from Jersey Central Power and Light after forty-eight years of service.  He was a United States Marine Corps, World War II veteran and was a member of the V.F.W., Post 4715, Point Pleasant Beach and the American Legion.

 

He was predeceased by his son, James; and step-sons, Bobby and Ricky.

 

Dan is survived by his wife of over forty-three years, Emma Streaser; and his daughters, Donna Streaser of Herbertsville and Lynn Baisley and husband, George of Michigan.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brett Streaser and husband, Chris Corallo, Margo Ryan, and Dana Stuart and husband, Matt; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Layla, Dominic, Caleb, and Joshua; step-children, Lisa Fichter and Alvin Reffitt and wife, Marybeth; and step-grandchildren, Zack and Claire.

 

Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 p.m., Tuesday, November 9 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road.  At 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 10 a graveside service, followed by interment, will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Route 35 and Schoolhouse Road, Brielle.
