Obituary of Marilyn Powell

Marilyn Powell, 81, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022.

Born in and formerly of East Orange, she has lived in Point Pleasant since 1973.

Marilyn was a member of Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church and was an avid dog lover and walker.

She was predeceased by her parents, Horace “Dick” Powell and Margaret “Peggy” Powell.

Marilyn is survived by her cousin, Jill Yesalonia and her husband, Robert, and their daughters, Chelsea and Cassie. She is also survived by three loving canine companions.

At 1 p.m., Thursday, January 5 a service, followed by entombment, will be held at Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Road, Toms River.
