My name is Shelley Fischer (maiden was Silver from Teaneck, NJ now living in Las Vegas, NV). Today, September 17th, for some unknown reason I felt compelled to look up Charlie on the internet and send a message. We go way back to our teen years in friendship. I was dismayed and shocked to read he had passed away. I have such marvelous memories of Charlie, from his exemplary sense of humor, to his ability to become a successful entrepreneur from hard work and determination. Charlie loved my father , Gene Silver. I can emphatically state that he loved his family with everything he was made of--and then some. In 2001 he came to Las Vegas to visit me. We had a wonderful visit that I remember to this day. Charlie made me laugh more than any person I ever met. His sense of humor and wit matched mine. I've thought about Charlie over the years and wondered what happened to him? We had lost contact over the last several years. Way leads on to way in life , but it always comes full circle. My heart is full with sadness to read this obituary. Sometimes words fall to the floor and conversations dangle when trying to find the explicit words to write about a loss. I won't even attempt this because whatever I say doesn't match my feelings.
If anyone in his family reads this condolence and would be gracious enough to email me, I would appreciate it since I would like to know what happened to Charlie, so full of energy, that he passed away "peacefully" in August. My email is: shelleyfischerastrologer@gmail.com
