Obituary of Josephine Marie Yewisiak

Josephine Fedeli Yewisiak, died Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the age of 88 peacefully at her home in Point Pleasant, NJ. She was a longtime resident of Charleroi, Pennsylvania. She is preceded in death by her husband, Peter Yewisiak and her youngest daughter, Linda. Surviving family members include two daughters, Paula Zivi of Annapolis, MD and Sandra Conaghan of Point Pleasant, NJ; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Josephine was a homemaker and avid gardener. She was blessed with a talent for oil painting and her paintings adorn many homes around the country. She was a savvy card player and was a member of a card club in Charleroi for over fifty years. Upon moving to Point Pleasant she joined the St. Martha's Tuesday card group. She enjoyed doing challenging picture puzzles. She was a member of Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Charleroi and St. Peter's in Point Pleasant Beach. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Funeral Mass being celebrated at Saint Peter R.C. Church, 406 Forman Ave., Point Pleasant Beach, on Saturday, Aug. 4 at 11 a.m. Inurnment will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Monongahela, PA and friends and relatives in the Charleroi area will have the opportunity to express their condolences at a gathering in the near future.
