Obituary of Lillian Novella

Lillian Barzydlo Novella, 94, of Brick, passed away, Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Ocean Medical Center. Born in Jersey City, to the late Alexander & Helen Barzydlo, she lived there and has resided in Brick for the past twenty-five years. She was a communicant of Saint Dominic Church, Brick. Mrs. Novella was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony T. Novella; two brothers, Chester & Walter; and three sisters, Helen, Natalie, and Monica. Surviving are her daughter, Carolyn Brescia of Point Pleasant; her son, Anthony Novella and his wife Jeanette of Estero, FL; three grandsons, Daniel Brescia, Steven Novella and his companion Rachel Barry, and Jay Novella, and his wife Melinda; four great-grandchildren, T.J., Katie, Tyler, and Shelby, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 1 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 9:30 a.m. a service will be held at the funeral home and followed by entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
