Obituary of Mary Jean Smith

Mary Jean Baird Smith, 81 of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away, Monday, August 27, 2012 at her home. Born in Plymouth, PA, to the late Henry & Cora Mae Baird, she was a long time Edison resident and has lived in Spring Hill for twenty years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George in 2009. Surviving are her son, George Henry Smith of Spring Hill, FL; her brother, William Baird of Plymouth, PA; her sister, Tydvill Applegate of Monroe Twp.; and her poodle, "Mr. Trouble." Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m., Tuesday, September 4 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10 a.m., Wednesday, a service will be held, at the funeral home, and followed by interment at Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet.
