Obituary of Michael Mascitelli

Michael Mascitelli, 86, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Friday, November 16, 2012 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born and raised in Newark, he had lived in Linden, residing in Point Pleasant for twenty-one years. Mr. Mascitelli retired from W.W. Grainger Industrial Supply, Union, where he worked as a warehouseman. He was an active volunteer for the Point Pleasant Beach Chamber of Commerce and was a member of both the Union County and Ocean County Coin Clubs; and The Old Guard, Brick. He is survived by his beloved wife, of sixty-six years, Rita Mack Mascitelli; two brothers, Carmen Mascitelli and Louis Mascitello, and his wife Eileen, all of Toms River; and by many nieces, nephews, and their families. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m., Tuesday, November 20, at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 4 p.m. a service will be held. Cremation will be private.
