Obituary of Theodore A. Kost

Theodore A. Kost, Sr., 93, of Brick, passed away, Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22, 2012, at Burnt Tavern Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Jersey City to the late Theodore & Lucy Kost, Ted was a United States Army, World War II veteran. A mechanic all his life, there was nothing he couldn't fix or restore. He lost the love of his life, Dolores Greger Kost in December, 2011 after sixty-seven years of happiness. Ted was also predeceased by his son, Theodore, Jr. in 2010, and his beloved grandson, Matthew Weiglein in 2003. Left to cherish the memories are his daughter, Debra Weiglein and son-in-law, Den; his first grandson and pal, Denny Weiglein; and his brother, Larry and his wife Lorraine of South Amboy. We will miss and love you always Dad-Chief-Pop. Mom, Matt, and Teddy are waiting at the "Pearly Gates." Our thanks to the staff at Burnt Tavern for the excellent care and compassion shown to Dad. At his request, there will be no services and a private cremation was arranged by the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant. For condolences to the family visit www.pableevertzfuneralhome.com
