Obituary of James B. Fisher
James B. Fisher, 85, of Breton Woods, Brick Twp., passed away, Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood.
Born in Osbornville, to the late James H. & Eleanor I. (Helmuth) Fisher, he was a lifelong Brick resident and graduate of Point Pleasant Beach High School.
Mr. Fisher worked as a delivery driver for Shorepoint Distributing Company, Freehold, for thirty-eighty years.
An avid hunter, he had a cabin in the Brendan T. Byrne State Forest where he raised fox hounds for many years.
He was predeceased by his wife, Irene; and by his sisters, Emily Schoenberg, Mary E. Fisher, and Norma Johnson.
Surviving are his nephew, John Emanuel of Lumberton; his niece, Madeline Morey of Brick; and many grand and great nieces and nephews, as well as his hunting partner, Oscar Davis.
Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 11 a.m., Friday, Mar. 1 a graveside service, followed by interment, will take place at the Laurelton Baptist Cemetery, Brick.
