Obituary of Louis B. Wary
LOUIS B. WARY, JR., 72, of BRICK, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2009 at the Ocean Medical Center, Brick.
Son of the late, Louis B., Sr. & Stella Wary, he was raised in Bloomfield, summered in Keansburg, and has lived in the Point Pleasant area for over fifty-one years.
He was a United States Navy, Korean War veteran and graduate of Pacific College.
Mr. Wary worked as a forensic marine investigator and owned B & K Engineering. He also was a private charter boat captain.
He was a member of the V.F.W., Post No. 8867, Brick; the L.O.O. Moose, Islamorada, Florida Lodge; and was a former member of the Point Pleasant Borough Board of Education.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, of thirty-six years, Bette Varchol Wary; two daughters, Carla Mason of Centreville, VA and Kimberly Ormsby and her husband Michael of Brick; and four grandchildren, Christopher, Lindsay, Austin, and Laura.
Services and cremation will be held privately and were arranged by the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home, Point Pleasant. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the V.F.W. Post No. 8867, 373Adamston Road, Brick, NJ 08723 are suggested.
