Obituary of Catherine E. Grove

Catherine E. Grove, 64, of Point Pleasant, passed away at home on Friday, February 6, 2009. Born in Newark, she had lived in Maplewood before moving to Point Pleasant 40 years ago. She was employed as a bookkeeper-general manager for Richie Brown Landscaping, Brick. Surviving to cherish her memory are her brother and his wife, Thomas and Phyllis Colligan of Seffner, Florida; her nephew and his wife, Troy and Kristin Colligan; her friend Tracy Rose Hayes of Brick; and her beloved dog, Dunphey. There will be a Gathering of Friends from 7 - 9 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11 at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road with a service at 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Jersey Shore Animal Center, 183 Brick Boulevard, Brick, NJ 08723, are suggested.
