She was the principle at St. Johns Orange, NJ 1994. Sister Maureen Christopher was a blessing and a strong support for me and my family. We exchanged Christmas cards every year since I left Orange, NJ in 1999. She was a inspiration for me and my daughters education and a strong support person. I will always love her. I looked up to her and her work with all the love and the care she gave and a brilliant person! God Bless you Sister Maureen Christopher a "angel". R.I.P

Sister Maureen taught 2 generations of our Family. My sisters and I and my cousins at Our Lady of All Souls with Sister Xavier and my niece at St Johns. She always has a kind word to say and to share. Along with sister Xavier. Everyone will truly miss her. When I heard the newS it became such a sad day and at times still feels that way. But we have also been thinking and talking of all the happy moments spent with her and with Sister Xavier. And we can honestly say we are so proud and happy she included us to share in her life!!
We Love You Sister Maureen

Words can not express my sadness of the passing of Sr.Maureen she was my principal at St. John's however principal was only a title. She was a mother, a couselor, a support and a true source of love. Sr. Maureen loved and nurtured me and my brothers after my parents passed away. She ensured that we not only graduated but were successful members of society. Even after graduating she continued to love and suppport me from a distance never leaving our side. I pray God welcomes Sr. Maureen ininto His kingdom and may she always kniw her work will never be forgotten and will live on in all her students. Love Always, Osias Family
