Bill was very patient when teaching me about cars and how to fix them. He loved wood working and was able build cabinets, shelves, and closets. He also built a desk/workstation. We worked together with his best friend to build a deck onto the back porch. We also built the tool shed. I remember helping to change headlights for the rental police cars on a number of occasions late at night. I was honored that Bill saved all my college announcements when I was on the honor roll. He drove up to college with my mom and sister two days ahead of time so that they could spend time with me before college graduation. Bill was a wonderful stepfather.

Dad you have no idea how greatly you are missed as each day has passed in those nine years its always more. The things you taught me to do as a young boy, your joking and kidding; the things you did for me I never knew. If I could take back one day from the early to mid sixties as a young boy, either a sunday morning early fixing something at the shop or at a "Rinky Dinks" softball game I'd hug ya and never let you go. So much I did not say before you left, your deep in my heart, you gave so much that went unnoticed to your community and family and friends, but I noticed. I'm crying right now, still after nine years, and as you know I never cried much. "Laugh and the whole world laughs with you. Cry and you cry alone", was one of your favorite all time sayings. Boy I miss you and will always. See ya soon ina much better place. To the Greatest Working Mans Father I ever knew, Your Son Bill jr. I wish you could see your back yard now. It was for your memory. Mom is ok as I promised. I gotta go. I didn't expect this.

I purchased the condo below Bill's home about a year ago. The short time i knew him, he was a wonderful happy man. He always waved and said hi. I am very honored to have meet him and may he rest in peace. He will be greatly missed.
