Lorna was a year ahead of me at Spring Valley High School. We played softball and other sports together. She was a great cheerleader and just fun to be with. She taught social studies in Clarkstown to my younger daughter.
I was so sorry to read of her passing and send my sincerest sympathy to your whole family. May memories of your time together help you through this difficult time.

I had the honor of knowing Lorna through the Allaire Auxilary. My favorite memory is the day we were going to make corded slips for under our dresses. She decided she wasn't skilled enough to do that. We all persuaded her to try. I had extra fabic and cording and we put her to work. She was so proud of that slip when it was finished. She just kept saying, "I can't believe I did this." Rest in Peace Lorna, the pleasure of knowing you was mine.

To the Williams Family,
Lorna was a wonderful
loving person. I played Bridge with her and she was
always delightful. I will
miss her lovely smile and
positive nature. She ws
a great hostess and we
enjoyed our Brige parties at
her home by the water. She is with our Lord and someday
we will meet again in God's
kingdom. With sincerest sympathy. Sally Detjen
