My heart breaks for your loss. I didn't know Maureen but she was a very accomplished woman and I'm sure was the love of your life. But all your kids are very special to you - especially Patrick!!!
You being a very holy woman I'm sure you will find comfort in your faith.

I am finding it difficult to realize I will never hear her stories again, the wise cracks, the concern about my family, and the order to help her decorate the unit. She always made me smile with her quick witted jokes and we enjoyed breakfast at the Mariners Cove. Maureen you touched many lives and held your head high during these tough 4 years. I miss you and love you and hope you say hello to Kevin and mom. Love, Mary

pWhile acting as the Head Nurse for the Medical Center of Brick's Pediatric unit I had the pleasure of having Maureen as part of our nursing staff. What a wonderful nurse she was, giving not only her nursing expertise but so much of her self. If you were Maureen's patient or her paients family you were cared for in every sense of the word and you knew you were in very good hands indeed! Ahhhhhh that sense of humor and telling of tall tales, these were especially appreciated by her adolescent patients. She was well liked and respected by all who knew her. I for one am so honored to have known her professionally and personally. Maureen, I just know you are already shaking things up in Heaven girl! God bless you and your family. Oh, by the way, who is going to keep the playroom so clean and well organized now?

My name is Debbie Bednar and I am writing this for my mother, Marie. She and Maureen were the "best of friends". Maureen always called her "Mrs. B". She would spend the weekend with mother and fix things around the house for her. They would go out shopping and to dinner. She was like a "daughter" to her. My mother is very sad & this is a great loss for her. Maureen has been in our prayers for the past 4 years. Her picture is also up in my mother's bedroom. She will never be forgotten...she was a precious friend. God bless her soul.

Maureen had a special gift, a great sense of humor. She used that gift and her love of people to spread happiness wherever she happened to be.
If Maureen was your friend, she was your friend for life, always there to lend a hand or an ear. She made you feel special.
Through her courageous battle, she never once complained or asked why me? She started every conversation with "How are you?" and a smile on her face and in her voice.
Although I will miss her terribly, I know there is a special place in heaven for Maureen.
