Dear Uncle Herb,
You touched my life in so many ways. I think about you often when I am skiing, I remember all thoses times we skied because my dad was not into black diamond runs, and Laney and Hope were to busy chasing "ski bums." LOL
You put a chain saw in my hands, a wood chipper and a brand new front end loader tractor at age 15 and said "don't kill anyone your dad will kill me" You trusted me to take on jobs at your property and I appreciate that.
I will never forget the fishing trips with dad, Grampie, you and the rest, we had great times together. Sorry for missing that weakfish with the net that day way back when. LOL
May God and His son Jesus be with you forever, I know you are resting peacefully in their arms.

Aunt Helen,
What sweet memories I have of times with your family.
I love the way that you and Uncle Herb lived out the life of a Christian with joy and open arms, always willing to share the Gospel along with a place to stay and a meal.
Your family has a special place in my heart. I am praying for you all as you walk this walk of loss.
Love,
Karen (Mills)

We have many fond memories of Herb from our days as neighbours in Watchung. Perhaps the most touching is from late 2001, that of him leading a prayer of thanks for the safe return of those of us who worked in downtown Manhattan.
Helen, our thoughts go out to you in this difficult time. Please let us know what we can do to make things easier.
