So many summer memories of talks over the fence and the granchildren playing in the yards -Her flowers always put mine to shame and it was wonderful to see her gardens. We will miss you and think of you often. My condolences to Paul, Mark, Bette and David and all the rest of the family.

Mrs. Scott, as all of us that were Boro children remember her, was truly a fixture and a blessing to have in your life. She is another special person that our town has lost and can never hope to replace. All our love to the family. Bruce, Brandon, Stacy, Philip, and the rest of the Seyfried Family.

She was a wonderful woman who was friendly to all who entered Point Pleasant Boro's School's halls. I'll never forget her candy apples. Sorry for your loss Bette.

To Paul, Mark, David, and Bette, my deepest sorrow for your lost. I will miss your mother. She had a way of saying it all with just a look. I always got the "you can't be serious" look...and make no mistake - I deserved it. However, it was the time classic "OMG" look, when she came to my house to pick up Paul, that made the most unforgettable impression on me. Without her knowing I had shaved every hair off his head except for a long pony tail. Paul, of course, with his flare for the dramatic, came running out of my basement twirling his head, pony tail flying. Needless to say Mrs. Scott was stunned and beyond the "you can't be serious" look, she was at the "OMG!!!" look level and I thought she was going to fall backwards. Seriously, I will never forget your Mom, I always felt that she cared about me and I always felt like I was one of her boys. I will miss her!

Your mom was a dear from of my mom, Joan Flipse. When my daughter Ariella was born in 1990, your Annie made her a beautiful teddybear with a pink and white tie and movable limbs. It's still perched on Ariella's shelf with three or four other special treasures from her childhood, reminding me of her babyhood--and your mom. -. Another lovely memory stands out: whenever I visited my parents, Ann frequently made an impromptu visit to chit chat and of course drink a few cups of tea. Joan and Annie were BFFs, never at a loss of things to talk about. These are the things I remember about Annie: she laughed heartily and frequently, she was proud of her children's accomplishments but never boastful, she disliked going over bridges, she was an inveterate crafter--at least that's how she struck me. She could be fatalistic about certain health matters. May Annie rest in peace. To her children: the sadness will lift and she will live in your heart. That is a cliche, but it's true.
