My sister, who died of brain cancer, in 2004, and I, would see Harry and a few of his buddies, running in Trenton, as we both ran together during our lunch (we worked for the State of NJ in an office on West State Street), and we'd and always pass them running (I guess everyone takes lunch at the same time if you work for the State.) We all became running/passing friends, and learned each other's names. One time it was just me running and I guess Harry just running, so we did some of our run together. I kept up with him (but after we went our own ways, I thought I was going to die because I am such a strong minded person, I would not say he was running to fast...I am not sure what made me think of him today, other than I was missing my sister, and our times of working out together. I now know why he looked as he did and ran as he did, he was a NJSP. How ironic...My son is now as well.
So sorry to see he died at such a young age. RIP Harry Bloom.. God bless you, his wife and daughter, and thank you for supporting him, your husband and dad, as he served his country and NJ to protect us all.
