I’m sure John will be missed by many people, I for one was sad to see his name in the paper this morning, it brought back memories for sure.
I always thought he was a good guy with a great smile!
I am sure my parents will be happy to see him come through St Peters gate!
All of my thoughts and prayers are with his family, God Bless!

Ahhh...Johnny Babes... The Enrights are one of the fortunate multi-generational families lucky enough to have known and ridden with Babes. He brought me home safely MANY nights, often on his last ride of the night, since my house was just a few blocks from his, so he'd let me hang out late night and scoop me up on his way home. I loved our late night talks. As my kids got older, I had them all put Johnny's number in their cell phones so I would know that they, too, would be home safe. RIP my dear friend

To my long time friend who always was there for me. I cherish the memories as a middle school child spending time with you and Lisa your daughter at your home on South Street in Point! Tennis anyone!! Those days I will never forget but the days when I called you to say PLEASE PLEASE Johnny pick me up as I need to get home… you were always there!! The conversations we shared on those rides I will never forget. So glad I got to spend quality time with you these past few months. I was blessed to reunite with my dear friend, your daughter Lisa and also meet some of your beautiful family. You rest my friend. You will be missed but always remembered! All my love. Dawn Geraldi

Babes was one of a kind. Always a smile and big kiss for me. He drove me to my wedding and countless other times, not thinking twice when I had my dog with me. We’d laugh and say the dog was more well behaved than most customers! He was a face I loved to see and I will miss his presence in our lives.
