So sorry to hear this news, Ms. Smith was my fourth grade teacher and was one of the reasons that I pursued a degree in education. She was fun, full of energy, and had a classroom environment that made all children feel comfortable. Her “Most Beautiful Baby Contest” was something I will always remember. Playing the kazoo for the winner! I ran into her several times as an adult, and she hadn’t changed a bit. Thank you for making a tremendous impact on my life. Sending love to her family during this difficult time.

So sorry to hear this sad news. May her friends and family find comfort in the knowledge Suzanne is at peace. Suzanne was a beautiful person. She always made the best out of everything she was handed. When we taught together, she was welcoming and so darn funny. RIP. Louise Baldwin

Thoughts, and Prayers to Family, Friends, and Co-workers at this difficult time.
I was a Student in Miss Smith's Class in the Fall of 1969. That was years prior to the opening of VMES.
I share the Candle to keep everyone grounded, and be receptive to Positive Energy.

Your laughter and smile will always be remembered. The props of bunny ears for Easter, shamrock hats for St. Patty's Day, and dancing frogs continue and will always be a tradition. The kids will miss "Aunt Suzanne" coming for corned beef or Windmill hot dogs, but we will dance and sing in your memory always. We love you!!
