Obituary of Stephen J. Wier

Stephen J. Wier, 69, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

Born in Natick, MA to the late Raymond and Ann Wier, he grew up in Wellesley, MA and has lived in Point Pleasant for the past twenty-three years.

Steve was graduate of Nichols College, Dudley, MA and was owner and operator of Budget Blinds of Brick and Toms River. He was a member of the Bay Head Shores Property Owners Association where he enjoyed bartending and hanging out with friends. He was an avid boater and an ardent Tom Brady fan.

Steve is survived by his beloved wife of twenty-three years, Joyce Wier and his son, Brian Wier.  He is also survived by three brothers, Peter Wier and his wife, Francesca, Fred Wier, and Raymond Wier, Jr., and his wife, Gwynne.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Saturday, May 7 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 12 p.m., a service will be held.
