I had the pleasure of being Christine's coworker at the Park Hyatt in Philadelphia. I will always remember her wit and determination. My thoughts are with all of those who loved her. She will be remembered fondly.

There are no words that can truly convey the sadness we all feel. My heart breaks and I know there is nothing I can do to ease the sorrow. Just know that my heart, my thoughts and my prayers are with you.
I close my eyes and see Chris carry the coolest pocketbook ever (a gift bag she transformed into couture), wearing an outfit that only she could pull off, and bravely living life. The lessons I have learned through this sometimes perfect, sometimes wonderful and sometimes devastating life we live is that I will forever miss those I loved who are no longer with me but I know that I will always be grateful for having known and loved them.

Gary and the entire Couch family, so sorry to hear of Christine's passing. Unfortunately, I too also know what it is like to lose a loved one due to complications from cancer. Owen passed on a little over eighteen months ago. My thoughts are with all of you during this most difficult time.

Chris,
The other day your little cousin, Martine, asked what happened to people when they died. Not being religious, I didn't know how to answer right away. After thinking about it for a few minutes, I told her that you go to Heaven, and that in Heaven you get to see all the loved ones who died before you. After that, Martine told me that you were lucky because you would get to see "daddy's mommy and daddy." I know you are with Pat and Val, and Mimi and Brud. And from what I have learned through the years, you are all cooking together, drinking fine wine, and laughing with a bit of sarcasm thrown in.
You will be forever missed, Chris, but you are in loving hands.
All our love always,
Val and Alicia
